Guiding and/or Instructing $375 (1 or 2 fishermen)

2 Consecutive day maximum

6 Hours hosting including hearty shore lunch, all flies and tackle and instruction as needed.

The steelhead run in 2021 was one of the earliest in the history of PA steelheading since it’s inception.  SInce 1972, I have been on these waters and have seen many changes in run timings as well as numbers of fish.  However, low clear water has been the norm for most days in October. I have developed tactics for just this type of fishing. Steamers early morning then wets and nymphs during the day.  As a special treat many of my clients have experienced the thrill of catching a lake run steelhead on dry flies. This is not a guarantee but can be accomplished in low clear water and proper water temperatures.

Expect to catch 6-8 pound fish with possibly a 10 pound citation fish on occasion.
